In the centre of the poster, Alexandra Ladikou and a young man with a gun in his hand are shown. They are both depicted in red monochrome. Below them, on the bottom of the poster, the title of the film is drawn in red capital letters on a black background: THE BLOCKING. Next to the title, three small photographs are inserted, one of Giannis Fertis and two of scenes from the film, depicting Manos Katrakis, Xenia Kalogeropoulou and other actors. At the poster’s top right, a fourth photograph is inserted, showing a German occupation army. The poster is a graphic creation of N. Zafeiropoulos Printing. With the insertion of photographs (collage) and images of the two leading actors in an outline, it manages to convey the dramatic aspect of the film, with one of the leading actors holding a gun, the German occupation army and the secret meetings at a dive. The use of red and black increases the sense of graveness and danger.
